i am zamantungwa.

i've read, recited and performed my poetry since 2001 in rooms, stages and spaces as different as the jo'burg city library and harare's library gardens. i've shared stages with poets/musicians/performers known and unknown at event like the national arts festival, windybrow arts festival, festival of fame and others. i've published in publications such as timbila and botsotso. i used to perform under the moniker Ndlovukazi Duduzile, some still call me Ndlovukazi.

poetry is more than expression. i write to purge, process, question my own ideas and thoughts. i write to challenge other peoples ideas. i write with
the hope that i can be the inciting incident in your change for the better. i write to incite debate, critical thought and conversation (internal and interpersonal) and contribute to the self-determination debate that we all should be a part of.

i don't only write poetry... writing is my life ain't i woman
